Hankook Tire & Technology has been honored with Ford Motor Company’s prestigious 2025 QR ZERO AWARD, recognizing the Geumsan Plant for achieving flawless quality performance with zero quality rejections and zero warranty claims in parts supply. The award ceremony was held on March 25, 2026, at Hankook’s headquarters, Technoplex, in Pangyo, Korea.
The QR ZERO Award represents Ford’s highest level of recognition for global partners that demonstrate exceptional product reliability and manufacturing excellence. This award highlights Ford’s confidence in Hankook’s world-class quality management system advanced production technology, and continuous innovation through the use of big data and AI-based quality systems. The winning Geumsan Plant produces original equipment tires for Ford’s best-selling pickup, the F‑150, reinforcing Hankook’s leadership in the global tire industry.
Since establishing a strategic partnership with Ford in 1999 as the first Asian tire company to do so, Hankook has supplied OE tires for many of Ford’s key models—including the Mustang, Explorer, Ranger, Focus, and the all-electric Mustang Mach‑E—showcasing its advanced capabilities in electric vehicle tire technology. With all eight global manufacturing facilities certified through Ford’s Q1 Award, Hankook continues to deliver consistent quality across its production network.
