In February 2025, the German Automotive Auto Zeitung published the results of the latest summer tire test. Continental Tires PremiumContact 7 was the only non-UHP tire to undergo multiple tests with 9 other UHP tires. It ultimately came in second with only a slight difference in points and was given a "strongly recommended" rating with an overall score of 274. The German Automotive News tested the popular 225/45R18 tire on the Skoda Octavia Combi, and conducted a total of 15 tests on dry and wet roads. Among them, the PremiumContact 7 achieved a braking distance of 41.8 meters in a 100-0 km emergency brake on a wet road, winning the test. Germany Auto Zeitung said that PremiumContact 7 offers maximum safety on both wet and dry roads and impresses with the shortest braking distances on slippery roads. Even in extreme situations, handling is safe and predictable, and this all-rounder has the grip you would expect from a sports tire.
Since its launch, PremiumContact 7 has won more than 30 test championships and honors in multiple international media tests, and its performance and security have been recognized by major media.
